1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using QuickTaskImport ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and QuickTaskImport ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

QuickTaskImport is a Jira application that allows users to:

• Import tasks from CSV files into Jira projects
• Automatically create and link epics
• Map custom fields from CSV data
• View import history and created issues

The App is built on Atlassian Forge and operates within the Atlassian ecosystem.

3. Eligibility

To use QuickTaskImport, you must:

• Have a valid Atlassian account
• Have appropriate permissions in the Jira projects you wish to import to
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Comply with Atlassian's terms of service

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Proper Use

You agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose
• Ensure CSV data is accurate and properly formatted
• Verify imported data before finalizing imports
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App to import malicious or harmful content
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the service
• Share access credentials with unauthorized users

4.3 Data Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of data in your CSV files
• Ensuring you have the right to import the data
• Reviewing and verifying imported issues
• Managing created issues within Jira

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

QuickTaskImport and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

5.3 Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you import through the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Results obtained from using the App will be accurate
• The App will meet all your requirements
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuickTaskImport, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Data you import through the App

9. Third-Party Services

9.1 Atlassian

The App operates within Atlassian's ecosystem and is subject to:

• Atlassian Cloud Terms of Service
• Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use

9.2 Other Services

Links to third-party websites or services (such as feedback forms) are provided for convenience. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Change features, functionality, or pricing
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Jira instance.

11.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App:

• For violation of these Terms
• For illegal or fraudulent activity
• At our discretion with reasonable notice

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Import history stored in Forge Storage will be deleted
• Issues created in Jira will remain (managed by Atlassian)

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QuickTaskImport regarding the App.

17. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through:
